NEW DIRECTORY APP FOR iPhone

Can’t find your directory?   Don’t have it with you when you need it?   The dog ate it?    Info is out of date?   No more worries.   The Ben Franklin PTA is now offering a new Directory iPhone APP .   Imagine having your directory information with you at all times...

In our continuing efforts to be Green and keep up with technology, we are offering the directory as an APP for the iPhone.   This will also enable us to make periodic updates if your information changes throughout the year.   If it goes well, and you like it, we will look to expand to the Blackberry and Android platforms.

FUNCTIONALITY – The APP will contain all of the contact information that is in the directory and will utilize the features of the iPhone such as auto dialing when you click on a phone number, the MAPs function when you click on the address, and the auto email function when you click on the email address.

SECURITY – The APP will be downloaded via the APP store for free.    You will log on with your email address and a unique password.   Once the APP is available, you will receive your password via email.   Only valid emails that are in our Ben Franklin database will be able to access the data and granted a password.    

OPT OUT YOUR DATA – if you do NOT want your information available on the APP, please notify Margaret Immink at 630-254-9107 or email her at Margaret.immink@sbcglobal.net by SEPT. 6^th.  

PRINTED DIRECTORY – will still be available and is free for PTA members or you can purchase it for $5.00 on One-Step.   Printed directories will be sent home with students in mid-September.
